Hawaiian Honeymoon

Maui was sooooooo beautiful. We especially enjoyed the winding road to Hana and the beautiful waterfalls in the rainforests along the way. The Iao Needle is a must see, and no trip to Maui would be complete without visiting the Black Sand Beach or driving above the clouds to the top of the Haleakala Crater (if you are really daring you can ride a mountain bike for 38 miles down this awe- inspiring volcano).

We went snorkeling at the Molokini crater. There were a million fish, and...oh yeah...sharks!

This is a rainforest spider spinning a web, it was probably the size of a silver dollar. It seemed happy to pose for this picture.

Iao Needle

The Iao Valley was so lush and green, especially compared to the desert we live in!

Thes trees have roots that grow above ground; crazy!

A room with a view

Our first Hawaiian adventure was a "Sunset Dinner Cruise". The view was breathtaking, the crew was great, the food was delicious, and the captain actually let me pilot the boat for a while.
